Mike Flanagan P'20, '22, Vice Chair of the Board

Mike Flanagan is CEO of “NewOrg”—the organization being created by the merger of Educational Records Bureau (ERB) and the Enrollment Management Association (EMA).  New Org is a national nonprofit membership organization that works to deepen school impact and foster whole student growth by generating data-driven insights that serve, develop, and cultivate a community of enrollment and academic leaders.
Mike is an experienced education technology executive. Prior to becoming CEO of New Org in 2021, he was a member of the founding team at the Mastery Transcript Consortium, serving as Chief Product Officer and CEO.  Previously, Mike was CEO of School and Student Services by NAIS, and co-founder & EVP of Intrepid Learning Solutions.  He started his career at ‘Iolani School in Honolulu, Hawai’i, where he taught English and coached Cross Country and Track.  He has a BA in English from Yale University and an MA in English from the University of Washington.
