CSW Celebrates the Re-Opening of the East Quad
Read MoreOn December 18, 2025, CSW officially opened the doors to its newly renovated East Quad Center, a mainstay of campus that dates back to the 1930s. The space, which has over the years housed a gymnasium, theater, and classrooms, will now serve as a hub for mathematics, computer science, and robotics. -

Artist Yan Lei P ’28 Donates Original Work to CSW
Read MoreIn October, members of the CSW community gathered to celebrate a generous gift from artist Yan Lei and his wife, Clothilde Yang, parents of BeiBei ’28. The couple donated a striking original artwork titled “Ecstasy” to the school, a silkscreen on French handmade paper created earlier this year. The donation includes the first five pieces in a 99-edition series. -
Dining Hall Staff Earns High Honors
We are proud to share that CSW's dining services team from CulinArt, led by Chef Jim Boyd, has been named a Compass Center for Excellence. This prestigious recognition honors dining teams that demonstrate best-in-class performance across key metrics including financial management, quality assurance and safety, wellness and sustainability, and innovation. CSW Musicians Shine in Community Performance
Read MoreThis past Sunday, four of our students, along with Music teacher Michael Weinstein, took part in a powerful performance of Fauré’s Requiem at First Church and Parish in Dedham. The concert was a beautiful collaboration between Opera UnMet, the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry in Roxbury, Project STEP, CSW student musicians, and volunteer choir members from local Unitarian Universalist congregations. -

Elyse '27 Competes with Team USA's Baton Twirling Team in Italy
This summer Elyse '27 and her duet partner Marissa Rufo earned a spot on Team USA's Baton Twirling team! She traveled to Turin, Italy in August to compete in the International Baton Twirling Federation Nations Cup, an international baton twirling championship. She qualified in Senior Duet at a national trial in January and is also the alternate for Junior 3-Baton.Read More -

Junior Parent College Counseling Night
Join us for insight and guidance into navigating the college search process. The event will have two distinct parts: a large group presentation followed by an informal time with your student’s assigned college counselor. The presentation portion of the evening will be held in the Community Gallery. The presentation portion will be live-streamed on Zoom and recorded for those unable to join us in person that evening. Individual Zoom room access will be offered for the counselor meet-and-greet portion of the program.This program is highly recommended for all junior parents. -
Grade 10 Progressive Pathways (for 10th grade families)
This will be a virtual event hosted on Zoom and recorded for future consultation.
Grade 10 parents and guardians are invited to join us as Sarah Morales, Director of College Counseling, and Diana Baruni, Assistant Head of School for Academics, share insight into how 10th graders will embark on conceptualizing and planning their 11th and 12th grade academic programs at CSW.In advance of the Progressive Pathways program, the College Counseling and Academic Office have partnered to answer some frequently asked questions.
