How to Apply

We know that applying to a new school is a big step, and we’re here to make the process as clear and supportive as possible. Here, you’ll find everything you need to complete your application, from creating your Ravenna account to scheduling your interview and submitting recommendations.

  • Inquire and Create an Online Account

    Submit our inquiry form to get started—this creates your Ravenna account and adds you to our mailing list so you’ll receive key admissions updates.

    With a Ravenna account, you can:
    • Schedule your tour and interview
    • Complete student and parent application forms
    • Request teacher recommendations
    • Track your application progress
    • View your admissions decision
    Already have a Ravenna account? Just add The Cambridge School of Weston to your list of schools.

    We also accept the SAO application. Please note: it includes an additional processing fee and extra essay requirements. Even if you apply via SAO, we ask that you still create a Ravenna account to schedule your interview and track your materials.

  • Schedule a Campus Tour and Interview

    Admissions interviews are required for all applicants and are offered both in-person and virtually. Most tours and interviews take place on weekdays during the school day and should be scheduled by January 15, 2025 and completed by January 31, 2025.

    To schedule your interview, first create a Ravenna account and add CSW to your list of schools. Domestic applicants may self-schedule visits through Ravenna. International applicants or those with questions should contact us at admissions@csw.org or 781.642.8650 — we're happy to help!

    • Student Questionnaire
    • Academic Writing Sample
    • Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
    • Optional: Supplemental materials like writing samples, art portfolios, or videos

    Teacher Recommendations & School Records

    • Required:
      • Current English Teacher
      • Current Math Teacher
      • School Official Recommendation (includes transcript + attendance records from last and current year)
    • Additional (if applicable):
      • Dorm Parent (for students who’ve boarded in past two years)
      • Optional extra recommendations

    Testing Policy

    • CSW is test-optional. You may submit SSAT, ISEE, PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores, but they're not required.
      • SSAT Code: 2020 | ISEE Code: 222350
      • Submit SAT/ACT/PSAT scores through your school
    • International applicants (non-native English speakers) must submit TOEFL or Duolingo English Test scores.
      • TOEFL Code: 9641

  • Apply for Financial Aid

    Families applying for financial aid are required to submit their application to Clarity and list CSW as the recipient. As part of the financial aid application, families will complete an e-signature form and Clarity will pull verified tax documents directly from the IRS.   • Receive Admissions Decision

    We share notification of admissions decisions online via each family's Ravenna account. Please note that we are unable to provide admissions decisions over the phone, and that by submitting your application via Ravenna you will have the earliest possible access to your notification.

  • Enroll

    By signing and submitting the electronic enrollment agreement and deposit to CSW, families make their student's enrollment official! Once we receive and process the enrollment, families will receive information about academic placement and getting ready for the coming school year.
