End-of-Mod 1 Parent/Guardian Coffee

Cheek - Swope Room - Swope
Join Aaron Hirsch, Assistant Head of School for Student Life, and Shad Sommers-Dehaney, Dean of Students for Grades 9 and 10, and four current students to learn more about student-centered engagement at CSW beyond the classroom. This presentation and conversation will explore how student opportunities outside the classroom align with our progressive values and help students build skills that are transferable to other experiences and settings.
About CSW End-of-Mod Coffees: We invite you to join us at the end of every mod for a parent/guardian coffee. These coffees are occasions to both socialize and learn about what your student is up to at CSW. Each End-of-Mod coffee will take place in the Swope Room next to the Dining Hall at 8:30 a.m. The speaking programs will be live-streamed and recorded for those unable to attend.
Back
CSW—a gender-inclusive day and boarding school for grades 9-12—is a national leader in progressive education. We live out our values of inquiry-based learning, student agency, and embracing diverse perspectives in every aspect of our student experience. Young people come to CSW to learn how to learn and then put what they learn into action—essential skills they carry into their futures as doers, makers, innovators, leaders, and exceptional humans who do meaningful work in the world.
